Concert: Wind Orchestra of the A.M. Buxton Music School Úpice (CZ)

The Wind Orchestra of the A. M. Buxton Music School from the Czech town of Úpice was founded in 1991 and has since brought together over one hundred talented musicians. The orchestra regularly performs both in the Czech Republic and abroad, including concerts in Denmark, Sweden, Austria, Germany, and France.

Thanks to numerous competition successes, the ensemble is considered one of the top wind orchestras in the Czech Republic. Their rich and diverse repertoire features works by Czech and international composers, covering a wide range of musical genres – from classical music, jazz, and swing, to evergreens and world-famous popular compositions.

Since 2021, the orchestra has been conducted by Jan Hofman – a former member of the ensemble and current teacher at the Úpice Music School.
